Chicky's is a hole in the wall place maybe three quarters of a mile from the Merritt parkway in Stamford and it's worth a side trip! I had the bangin shrimp sandwich, and the shrimp were not shrimpy! Big and juicy and smothered with slaw and Russian dressing on a crisp and chewy hoagie roll (I'm from Philly, and that's what we can them). The "Cheech" was a hit with my Italian girlfriend. Chicken cutlet, broccoli rabe and roasted red peppers hot the spot! It was a pleasant surprise to find this place open on New Year's Day.

Stepped in to pick up a pizza for dinner after a long day of driving. After battling terrible traffic on the Merritt Parkway, Chickys offered respite beyond what I could have hoped for. Delicious pizza and even better service. While waiting for our pizza, we saw multiple people come in who were clearly regulars, and it’s easy to see why. Highly recommend!
